Broken Door is the biggest obstacle in FNAF Secret of the Mimic

It seems that many players have problems with the easiest part of FNAF Secret of the Mimic – with the automatic door. How is that possible? It's not their fault.

Five Nights at Freddy's: Secret of the Mimic was released today. However, it seems that many players can’t enjoy the game. Why? There is a problem with the door. While there is some confusion among players, as opening doors is part of the gameplay, it looks like problem is real and many fans experience it.

Door problem in FNAF Secret of the Mimic

A few minutes after the beginning of the game you are tasked with getting into Murray’s Costume Manor. The main door is closed. It is a simple puzzle, which takes you on the little adventure and walk around the building. However, after entering it, you should hear Edwin for the first time. After his recording, the door in front of you (with the sign “Show Starting Soon”) should open automatically. However, many players report that it is not the case.

Of course, while we should be cautious before calling any door broken (part of the game is about opening / going around such obstacles), it seems that in this case it may be a bug. Quite a serious one, we should add, as it breaks the game. At this point there is not much you can do. Of course, it is always possible to restart FNAF Secret of the Mimic, as the problem occurs at the beginning, so it is not a great waste of time. There is a chance that after starting the game once again (and maybe ing integrity of files through game’s properties in Steam library), it will work as intended. However, keep in mind that at this point there is not a proper solution to this issue.

Let’s hope that developers from Steel Wool Studios will fix this issue as soon as possible. However, releasing the game just before the weekend may cause a delay in the patch release. Let’s hope that it will not be the case here.
