New open-world survival game conquers Steam after its global release. Players praise Dune: Awakening and do something impossible
The official global launch of Dune Awakening was a great success. Players also figured out how to get around one of the restrictions put by the devs.

Yesterday was the official release of started the fun last week. So it's worth taking a look at how the game is doing at the moment.
- On Steam, Dune: Awakening is achieving excellent results. Yesterday's activity record was 142,050 players playing simultaneously. This means that the weekend record (117,000) was beaten, achieved only by owners of more expensive editions.
- Such results make Dune: Awakening the biggest hit in the history of Funcom studio. The previous record holder was Conan Exiles, with a record of 53,402 concurrent players.
- The game not only enjoys great popularity but also receives very positive reviews. On Steam, 88% of player opinions are positive.
Staying on the topic of Dune: Awakening, it's worth mentioning that some players were disappointed by the lack of an option to ride sandworms. So they decided to do something about it and figured out a way to jump on such a beast. Of course, this doesn't provide the option of controlling it, as the Freemen do, but it is still a fun achievement.

This is not the only Dune with something new
A new update for Dune: Imperium has been released by Funcom studio, coinciding with the premiere of their hit game. The patch mainly introduces technical and interface bug fixes. At the same time, the new expansion Immortality is now available for purchase. It costs $9.99 and includes the Bene Tleilax board, dozens of new cards, and lots of challenges for the game.
